U3A is a voluntary, non profit organisation mainly for the over-fifties who have essentially left the workforce and started the "Third Age" of their lives. 

It is a unique learning experience for mature age people, so do come along to learn, teach or just share your knowledge in short, daytime interesting courses and activities.

U3A-Inverell is based in Inverell, Northern NSW, (the Sapphire City).  Inverell is a country town of approximately 11,000, located in the New England district of the Northern Tablelands.  Our members come from the town, and other towns and villages in the area, presently within a radius of 50km.
